I found Rockmont through an organization called Camp Leaders Mexico. I am from Puebla, MX and my first two summers I worked in the kitchen and this coming summer I’ll be a Day Camp Counselor! Since the first time I came to Rockmont my life changed because it is a place where you can learn values like love and friendship. At the same time, what I personally loved was when all the staff and counselors met at Aunt Sue’s Barn to sing camp favorites like “Wagon Wheel” and in that moment I felt that we really are a community and it doesn’t matter your color, gender, or nation. I keep coming back to Rockmont because every time I feel like I am at home.
