The Rockmont blog has been in a slump. We don 't post enough, and there 's no reason for our families to check in and see what we 're writing about.
That’s going to change.
One of the topics I usually talk about with families is Rockmont’s desire to partner with them in the mission of growing and developing young men. Gone are the days where Mom and Dad just drop off their son and think, “;Well I hope he has fun”. Of course camp should be fun, but there is so much more! We are going to use the blog to tell our story in a deeper way, and to keep the conversation going on this essential training and development of young men.
Once a month, Rockmont will publish an article that will provoke thoughtful discussion (or just being thoughtful) about the topics that confront parents, young men, and mentors.
Here are a few potential topics
*Rites of Passage
*Work and Contribution
*Behind the Scenes at Rockmont
But we want to hear from you too! What other additional topics and issues would you like to see covered? Let us know in the comments!
