Stafford Johnson
Stafford’s journey with Camp Rockmont began in 2010 when, at 10 years old, he arrived as a camper in Cabin 15. Over the next several years, he embraced every opportunity Rockmont had to offer, participating as a camper until 2016 and advancing through leadership programs like Catalyst and the Counselor in Training program in 2017. His dedication and leadership skills earned him a spot on the A-Team, where he served on summer staff from 2018 to 2021.
Stafford’s expertise in hospitality blossomed through both his time at camp and his academic pursuits. He holds a degree in Hospitality Management from AB Tech and honed his skills with hands-on experience in the restaurant industry. In 2021, Stafford accepted a year-round role at Rockmont as the Event Manager, where he contributed to numerous retreats, reunions, and gatherings on camp.
In the spring of 2024, Stafford took on a new challenge as Guest Services Manager, overseeing the full experience for all visiting groups to Rockmont. His passion for connection, hospitality, and the transformative power of camp life continues to inspire those around him.
