Elias Longenecker

Elias joins the Rockmont team after 2 decades of outdoor experiences. Born in Chippenham, England, he grew up in South Carolina and spent most summers and weekends in the mountains of Western North Carolina. 

Elias’s heart for cultural education led him to the College of Charleston, where he earned a degree in History and International Studies. During and following his university experience, he studied and traveled through Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Through his travels, he’s noted how each culture is uniquely beautiful, and how humans share far more in common than in difference.

Elias is excited to continue this work as the Staffing Director at Rockmont!
