Valley View Lodge makes a perfect family reunion rental and has what some visitors have called a “million-dollar view.” Its location high atop North Carolina’s Black Mountain ensures breathtaking views of Swannanoa Valley.

This three-story lodge boasts modern luxuries such as comfortable leather furniture, a flat screen television, and a BluRay player, while also offering ample opportunity to take in the beauty of the home’s natural surroundings. Outdoor seating areas and large windows ensure visitors to Valley View can enjoy gorgeous mountain scenery at every turn.

The Details

Located on Valley View’s main floor are a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a bunk room, a bathroom, and the kitchen and living area with a propane stove for added ambiance. Panoramic French doors provide unobstructed views and access to the deck with rocking chairs. Valley View’s fully stocked kitchen has all you need to prepare meals.

Two upper bedrooms have two bunk beds in each with brand new mattresses, as well as a separate bath. The lower bedroom has a full-size bed, a futon, and two bunk bedrooms, and also has its own separate bath.

Valley View ensures endless entertainment in its game room, where guests can play pool, ping pong, and foosball. The outdoor space allows you to spend time around the fire pit or grilling a delicious dinner on the gas or charcoal grill.

Rental rates for the Valley View are $33 per person, per night, with a nightly minimum of $525. It is available from mid-August through mid-May.
